The following information was provided by the National Institute on Retirement Security. It clearly demonstrates that retirement security is not and should not be a political issue. Most Americans have suffered from weak real wage growth for decades. As a result, they are having great difficulty building the necessary retirement nest egg. Congress has the opportunity to secure the pensions for millions of Americans at this time. Will they continue to let ideology dictate the path forward or will they finally do what is best for the people that they represent?

I’ve been cut almost 60 percent since April 19 my wife cannot understand the crisis that we face I cant work because of a heart condition at age 66 and we are caregiving her 84 yr old mother, having to travel longer distances for her pain care because the clinics shutting down due to corruption and opioid crisis when does this end ? Or are they betting on us all just to die off how much is enough dont corner a squirrel or a dog they bite back
Hi Mike – Thank you for sharing your story with me. It is awful what is happening to you and many others that have seen their benefits slashed. It’s just not right! Please know that I will do whatever I can to help get legislation passed. It has taken much to long.
